micamicster asked: I love that there is a blog dedicated to the muppets. They symbolized so much of my childhood and they are one of those beautiful things which can have meaning to all ages. I went to the most recent muppet movie with my younger cousins (around 5 and 6) and I thought it would be fun and nostalgic, but when kermit started singing rainbow connection I surprised myself by starting to cry in the theater! Thank you for appreciating what the muppets mean

Well thank you so much for this.

I think that Jim Henson played an important part in most people’s childhoods - whether it was through Muppet productions, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, Dinosaurs, Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, and the list goes on.

But the Muppets really do have a special place in all our hearts. Even though we’re older now there still so much we can take away from their movies and their television programs. That’s wonderful to hear that the newest Muppet film moved you so much, I know it did for me as well.

Again, thank you so much for your lovely comment!

crazy-not-to asked: you have made me cry too many times today. Never Forget Henson.

Oh trust me, you’re not alone. I’ve spent pretty much all of today watching Jim Henson related things and looking at pictures of him. He was a truly amazing guy who set out to make the world a better place, which he truly did.

Never forget Henson is right. <3
