I was just asked by margaretssmallworld to post Boober’s funeral dirge, ‘Dixie Wailin’, from Fraggle Rock. In requesting it, margaretssmallworld stated:
I’ve been finding it incredibly appropriate and comforting in the wake of Jerry Nelson’s passing, because in it Gobo takes Boober’s depressing funeral dirge and “picks up the tempo,” turning it into a positive and joyful take on death.
I couldn’t agree more.
