Story time.

So, back in the days when I was a more active member on The Muppet Forums, one of the things that bothered me most was how all the people would complain and complain about how much they dislike Elmo and how they wish Sesame Street would bring back more of the older characters. While I agree completely that bringing back some of the original characters into the lime light would be wonderful, I couldn’t figure out why people were ragging on Elmo (okay, I could kind of understand the older people objecting, but the people my age? I did not understand that at all). Elmo has does wonders for generations of kids, including myself. I grew up loving Elmo and I learned so much from him and all his friends. Anyway, I remember on the Forums that there were people who said they probably weren’t going to see Being Elmo and I was horrified.

This is not just a movie about Elmo. This is a movie about Kevin Clash. This is the story about a boy with a passion and a dream. Honestly, if you are a true Muppet fan and you watch this trailer and your heart doesn’t feel all warm and fuzzy by the end of it, then something is wrong with you. I hope that everyone gets a chance to see this movie. This is the story of a Muppeteer achieving his dream. It looks like it’s going to be incredible.
