“I was just a typical 17 year-old. I wanted a summer job, I didn’t want to live at home, and I was very into being independent and living by my own means. Basically, my father suggested, “Maybe you want to go work at Sesame Place.” My sister had a friend whose family owned a boarding house in Princeton, New Jersey – so that was why I really went to do it. The Verbicide thing is annoying as fuck, but there are magazines that people have actually frickin heard of like Wired saying good things, so I'd think that more people would be paying attention to that.

Fraggle Rock feature film?

I’ve known for a while that the movie industry has been trying to turn Fraggle Rock into a movie, but I had not read this article in particular.

Personally, I think if they can get Dave, Kathy, Steve, and Karen on board for this film and if they do it with people and puppets (not CGI!) then I think it has the potential to be a really great film. It could probably be done quite well in CGI… but I’d prefer it if they used puppets, personally.

What do you guys think of there being a Fraggle Rock movie?

Have you read the Wired article on the Muppets? (Not sure if it's online.) I did last night-- it's pretty spectacular! And also has Lisa Henson talking about CGI Muppet possibilities (the horror! the controversy!) and her dad at the end. A little bit of everything.

I have not! I just checked and, from what I can tell, it’s not online (or, at least, it’s not yet). But CGI Muppet possibilities? Hmmm, this makes me want to read the article even more.

I did go to the Wired web-site and found they had posted the latest Muppet parody trailer, and while there isn’t a lot of commentary, they do manage to say:

For my money, that’s the best trailer for The Muppets yet. I can’t wait to see this film!

So it’s nice to see some positive feelings after reading that last article! (Click here to go to Wired page)
