Walter has a Rizzo dressed as Yoda action figure like me! I wish I could hang out with Walter.

I totally missed this the first time I saw the movie, and it’s just the funniest ever.  I so love the level of detail that went into this movie.

Okay, here we go. I miraculously managed to sing “The Rainbow Connection” without crying at my cousin’s Friday night, pre-wedding Kiddush. Please excuse my mother’s camera work.

My good friend, Becca, singing Rainbow Connection at her cousin’s wedding.

crackpotcomics asked: I feel like we're missing the obvious here and that a MUPPET should be a DWTS contestant rather than a Muppeteer. Obviously a smaller character like Kermit would be hilarious just because they could only be shot from the waist-up or use other stage trickery to hide the performer, but a big suit character like Big Bird or Sweetums could be really entertaining too.

See, a Muppet being on DWTS is, weirdly, much more plausible. Maybe that’s because they appeared on DWTS to promote The Muppets back in 2011?

I don’t think a Muppet would last long as a contestant on the show though, seeing as their flexibility is quite limited. But I’d love it if one of them were a guest dancer for an episode!

Anonymous asked: Going back to the DWTS subject if that's ok lol..what if...ABC got, idk, a tip-off about considering getting a Muppeteer on the show? The only person confirmed to compete this upcoming season is Kelly Osbourne, but I doubt they have gotten everyone else booked by now, right? OMG what if a Muppeteer was hired as an alternative before (in case someone drops out at the last minute) and we just didn't know?!

I don’t exactly know how to tip off ABC about considering a Muppeteer, but the thing is… Okay. ABC is owned by Disney, yeah? And Disney owns the Muppets, yeah? So, if they really wanted a Muppet performer on the show, it’s not like they’d have a hard time tracking one down. But we’ve been having this discussion over on the Tough Pigs forum about how Disney’s “don’t spoil the magic” policy means we very rarely get to see the Muppet performers… ever. We never get to see Steve or Eric on late night talk shows or get awesome Muppeteer commentary for DVDs or any form of promotion tied in with their names when new films are coming out or anything along those lines. So a part of me has a really hard time believing a Muppet performer would ever be a contestant on DWTS. I love discussing the possibility of who’d do great on the show, but unfortunately I’m not too sure we live in that reality.

I really don’t mean to be a damper on the fun, which is probably how it’s coming across right now, but that’s just my opinion. It’s a crummy opinion, I realize, but I think it’s probably true.

But… maybe Sesame performers could be on DWTS? Or Brian Henson? Those are a bit more plausible.

I mean, of course, if I was wrong and a Muppet performer was ever a contestant on DWTS then I’d finally have to cave and start watching it, because damn straight I’d watch and root and vote for any Muppet person on that show. Cause that’d be amazing.
